Who We Are
Royal Villa Resorts sits a short walk from the shore in Mandarmani, on West Bengal's stretch of the Bay of Bengal coastline. We set out to build a resort that felt personal rather than transactional — clean, roomy rooms, a pool to cool off in, and a kitchen that turns out fresh, home-style food through the day, all run by a team that actually knows the area.
Mandarmani is one of the few beaches in West Bengal wide and firm enough to drive on, which makes it a favourite weekend escape from Kolkata. Being sea-facing and close to the beach access points, Royal Villa Resorts gives guests an easy base for early morning walks, sunset views, and quick trips down to the water without a long commute from the room.
We built the resort around three kinds of guests: families who want space and a pool for the kids, couples looking for a quiet weekend by the sea, and companies bringing a team out of the office for an offsite. Five room categories, a banquet hall, and flexible meal plans mean all three are genuinely well looked after here — not squeezed into a one-size-fits-all layout.

Mandarmani, West Bengal
Mandarmani is roughly 170–180 km from Kolkata, about a 4–5 hour drive along NH16 and the coastal road. Digha, the better-known beach town, is around 15 km away, so guests arriving by train usually route through there before a short cab ride to the resort.
