A Mandarmani trip doesn't need a packed itinerary — most of the appeal is slowing down — but there's enough around to fill a few days if you want to.
On the Beach
Mandarmani's beach is wide and firm enough to drive or cycle on at low tide, which makes for one of the more memorable mornings of the trip. Sunrise and sunset walks are the local favourite — the light on the water is worth setting an early alarm for.
At the Resort
Some of the best hours of a Mandarmani trip happen without leaving the property — the pool, a slow breakfast, or an evening on the walkways. If you're staying with us, ask about a candlelight dinner setup for an anniversary or proposal; it's one of our most requested add-ons.
Nearby Day Trips
- Digha (15 km) — markets, boardwalk, and a busier beach scene for a change of pace.
- Junput Beach — a quieter, less-visited stretch of coast worth a half-day trip.
- Local fishing villages — worth a visit for fresh seafood and a look at daily life on the coast.
Food
Fresh, local seafood is the highlight — most of what lands at the local markets in the morning is on a plate by evening. Our kitchen serves home-style meals through the day if you'd rather not go looking, and can work around dietary needs with a bit of notice.
